Alicia Metler

Alicia (Ah-lee-see-ah) was drawn to O.N.E. to engage, educate and develop youth in the outdoors. While working for Kings Canyon National Park trail crew, she’d cook and care for upwards of thirty young adults living and working in the remote wilderness of the Sierras for months at a time. Her years of combined experience working for both the National Park Service and California State Parks only strengthened her innate love and passion for the outdoors. Alicia holds a Washington State Teacher Certificate in Elementary Education and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. She lives with her husband, daughter and orange-tabby, Leo, in their self-designed and self-built 160 square foot Tiny House. They spend a lot of time outside.
