An outdoor, teacher led play group that nurtures connection with your local community and nature. Adventure Club is an inclusive and welcoming group that will allow your child to practice early socialization skills while spending time outside in nature. Adventure Club is a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect with other families in the area with young children and to prepare children for our Early Learning program. All ages are welcome however generally children are between 6 months to 5 years old.
The daily rhythm of a typical day is outlined below, however, things can change depending on the weather and the needs of the children:
10 AM Inspiration Time: Families gather in our designated meeting spot, and wait for the group to arrive. Children are offered sensory play to inspire their day, such as play dough or ice blocks, mud kitchen toys and nature crafts.
10:20 AM Circle Time: The group gathers for announcements, introductions as needed and our morning welcome song (which helps us practice everyone’s names!).
10:30 AM Hike: Walk to our outdoor classroom for the day. This walk may be over uneven or muddy ground. Our outdoor classrooms are often by creeks or ponds, so be prepared for your child to get wet with a change of clothes!
10:45 AM Snack and Wonder Time: Materials such as mud kitchen and crafts are laid out for children to choose from and are encouraged to create their own world of wonder through open ended play. Depending on group interest and age we may offer a story time or play a large group game.
11:40 AM Return Hike: Head back to the meeting spot.
12:00 PM Goodbye: See you next week!
Please bring your own snack, an extra change of clothes for the children, and waterproof shoes. We often walk through shallow streams or play around slippery mud.
Although the teachers will stay on-site during designated class times, you are welcome to leave whenever you and your child are ready.

Tuition Policies
For Adventure Club: Payment is due at the time of enrollment. 15 days prior to the session starting date, you are entitled to a refund. 14 days or less, we are unable to offer refund or credits.
