Enrollment

Enrollment priority is given to currently enrolled students,  siblings of children currently attending the school, and families that attend a Spring Open House. These groups receive priority registration during a window before “new student registration” begins.  Open registration for students not presently attending the school for the following year begins at a later date. If a family is not able to register for their preferred class during this period, they will be able to add to a waiting list and notified when a space opens up.

Required ages for programs are posted with each program. If your child is of age within 30-days of the program start date, please call or email the office to request an exception.

Summer Policies

Deposits 

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of enrollment to secure your child’s spot:

  • $100 per summer session
  • $25 per day camp

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due by June 5th. 

Summer Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Written notice of withdrawal must be received by June 1st to receive a refund of tuition, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Out of respect for our teachers, administrative planning and program preparation, no refunds will be issued after June 1st for summer programs.

  • Credit/Debit Card: a 2.95% processing fee will be added to all transactions

School Year Registration Fee

School Year Enrollment Deposit

To secure your child’s placement, a non-refundable deposit equal to the final 30 days of tuition is required. This deposit is due upon enrollment or prior to the program start date, whichever comes first. The deposit will be applied to May 2027 tuition, or to the final 30 days of attendance if a student withdraws before the end of the program year.

School Year Withdrawal Policy

We understand that choosing to withdraw your child is an important decision. Before moving forward, we encourage you to take a moment to consider the following:

  • Schedule a Parent–Teacher-Program Director Conversation: If you have concerns about your child’s experience or progress, we welcome the opportunity to meet. A conversation with your child’s teachers and/or our program director can often provide clarity, perspective, and possible solutions.
  • Talk Through Challenges: If something specific has prompted this decision, please let us know. We are always open to discussing adjustments or supports that may better meet your child’s needs.

We value open communication and want to ensure that any decision feels thoughtful and well-supported.

Please note that all intentions to withdraw a student must be communicated directly to the Administration Team, not the classroom teacher. We kindly ask that a minimum of 30 days’ written notice be provided to ensure a smooth transition. Tuition is not prorated for partial months of attendance. The enrollment deposit will be applied to the final 30 days of enrollment, regardless of when withdrawal occurs. This period may extend beyond a calendar month depending on the withdrawal date.

Applying for Tuition Assistance

Olympic Nature Experience offers tuition assistance to help meet your family’s financial needs. We work hard to raise funds from community members and supporters so we can offer tuition assistance to families needing financial assistance. Tuition assistance applications are reviewed on a first received, first reviewed basis and distributed according to the funds available.

To apply for tuition assistance register your child for the program you are interested in following the steps above and check “Yes, I need financial assistance.”

Supporting Tuition Assistance

A huge thanks to all of our supporters who make tuition assistance possible!! In order to provide scholarships to our students, we rely on the generous support of our donors. But even with that level of funding, not everyone who applied for a scholarship was able to receive one. Our goal is to increase the amount we can give this coming year and in the years to come. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to support future scholarships.

Checking for Open Space in a Program and Waitlists

Program registration changes quickly. There are two ways to check for open spaces in a program:

If your program appears waitlisted:

  • Waitlists will only appear when a program is 100% full.
  • There is no cost to register for a waitlist. Registration is highly encouraged.
  • Space may become available last minute. Participation is not guaranteed for those on the waitlist.
  • Participants on a waitlist will be contacted in the order they are received. If you would like to be removed from a waitlist, please contact our office.
  • Participants will be contacted via the  primary email address provided.
